The St Christopher Club.
This is an association of former staff and pupils of St Christopher School, Letchworth.
The Club acts as a forum to keep its members in touch with one another and with the school by means of newsletters and reunions. All former pupils and staff are considered to be members of the Club, although just occasionally there is someone who does not want to remain in touch and, once asked, we delete them from our mailing lists. We can only afford to mail regularly to subscribers, but we do try to contact everyone - whether they subscribe or not - if their yeargroup are particularly "targeted" for a reunion. We also wrote to everyone we had an address for, worldwide, in and the autumn of 2013 and 2014. If you did not hear from us around that time we would be delighted to have an up to date address for you.
The Club was set up in the 1920s as an independent organisation from the school, and all of its committee members donate their time and effort - nobody is paid for any work done for the Club. However, although technically independent we of course aim to work closely with the school and are dependent on its help and goodwill in many areas. The Club's organisation is in the hands of a committee elected by the Annual General Meeting which usually takes place during the Summer Reunion.
The current president is John Collins. Day to day running of the Club is in the hands of its treasurer and secretary, David Cursons. To contact the Club write or e-mail to David Cursons at:
